PROVIDENCE – God conceived as the power sustaining and guiding human destiny; the protective care of God or of nature as a spiritual power
The word “providence” is striking. It comes from the word “provide” which has two parts: “pro” (Latin: “forward,” “on behalf of”) and “vide” (Latin: “to see”). When we say, “I’ll see to it”, we mean “to supply what is needed; to give sustenance or support.” In the greatest sense, the noun “providence” is the act of God’s “seeing to” the universe – He provides.
Scripture : Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”
Saying:
“God’s providence is always one step ahead of us.”
— Pope Francis
