PROMISE – a declaration that something will or will not be done, given, etc., by one; a declaration that one will do or refrain from doing something specified

You can place your trust in God and believe he’ll follow through on his promises. In fact, experiencing his promises to the extent God intends for you requires trust. Isaiah 26:3-4 says, “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”
