Word of the Day: Mercy

Sep 24, 2021 | Words of Wisdom

MERCY – a blessing that is an act of divine favor; compassion shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one’s power

Mercy provides promising glints of hope in the darkest of times. It compassionately sees a hurting heart behind hurtful words. The greatest example of God’s mercy is when Jesus gave his life for us. Mercy reveals how just and fair, yet loving and compassionate, God is.

Scripture : Hebrews 4:16

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

Saying:

“You’ll never know Jesus is all you need until Jesus is all you have. Are you in the wilderness? Find refuge in God’s presence. Find comfort in His people.”
