Word of the day: Honor

Sep 24, 2021 | Words of Wisdom

HONOR – to regard or treat (someone) with admiration and respect; to give special recognition to

Honor all people. Not just the good ones, deserving ones, influential ones, or people whom you think can help you at some point. Honor everyone, even those who don’t have the capability to do anything for you in return. That is the core of Jesus’ teaching on the Golden Rule (Matthew 7:12).

Scripture: 1 Peter 2:17

“Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.”

Saying:

“Humility forms the basis of honor, just as the low ground forms the foundation of a high elevation.”

— Bruce Lee
