Word of the Day: Trust

Sep 24, 2021 | Word of the Day

TRUST – assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something; to hope or expect confidently.

Trust is fundamental to a person’s life. Imagine if you can’t place your trust in anything – your life could be a constant battle against anxiety and paranoia. You must consciously begin the cycle of trust – start it with you, today, right now – and be at peace by accepting that everything will be okay.

Scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Saying:

“The people when rightly and fully trusted will return the trust.”

— Abraham Lincoln
